Home Remedy For Dog’s Dull Coat
If you want your dog to have a beautiful, shiny coat of fur, then you have to start from the inside out. Inside the dog, that is.
Give your dog fish oil every day. Fish oil comes in capsules and it is as good for our dogs as it is for us. For small dogs under 15 pounds, give 1 fish oil capsule per day, 15-30 pound dog gets 2 fish oil capsules and over 30 gets 3 fish oil capsules per day.
My dogs won’t take the capsule in ‘as is’ condition, so I prick the capsule with the point of a knife and squeeze out the fish oil on a piece of bread and feed it to them, to ensure each of my dogs gets the right amount of fish oil.
If you only have 1 dog, you can just prick open the capsule and squeeze the contents out over their normal food.
Fish oil is the home remedy for a dog’s dull coat and also helps alleviate other dog skin irritations.
