How To Remove Stuck On Food From Your Favorite Pot

Published by ms_writer at 8:37 am under Hobbies, Home Remedies, Uncategorized Edit This

It happens to all cooks, sooner or later something will stick to your favorite pot and you wonder how you will ever get it out.
Most stuck on food debris will come out by simply putting enough water in the pot to cover the stuck on food, add 1/4 cup of baking soda to the water and simmer for 15 minutes. After the pot cools, the stuck on food should lift right out.
If you have cooked something that stuck to your pot which contained flour, milk and eggs, (like pancakes) never use hot water to try to get the food unstuck. Hot water sets the starch and it will become like glue in your pot. Always soak in cold water to remove a stuck on mixture containing flour, milk and eggs.
